Misaki Hayama Performer was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. She graduated from Saitama Prefecture's High School of Arts and attended Japan University College of Art Dancing course. During her school career, she trained in Modern Dance, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Japanese Traditional Dance. She also won many dance competitions of modern dance including 9th place at the Kanagawa Prefecture Dance Arts Festival and traveled to the Philippines to join the Citigym Anniversary Competition where she was awarded first place in Hip Hop. She had worked as a member of the dance ensemble in The Lion King and A Chorus Line in Japan for four years. In 2015, she moved to New York and started training at Alvin Ailey School as a fellowship student. She performed at the Apollo Theater and worked with Obediah Wright, Leslie Dockery & George William Faison. Recently she has worked with Amanda Selwyn Dance Theater, Kalamandir Dance Company, Vashti Dance Theater, AATMA Performing Arts, Alpha Omega Dance Company and Matthew Westerby Company.
